The main purpose of the role is to design electrical building services solutions for clients in areas of critical infrastructure, such as financial services, hospitals and data centres.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client to understand their requirements and provide most suitable engineering solutions
- Assess electrical / LV services in existing buildings and develop suitable strategies, both short and long-term.
- Provide client with engineering recommendations and work phase plans, allowing the building to remain operational whilst works are progressing
- Produce electrical building services designs, such as lighting, UPS upgrades etc using standard industry software (AutoCAD, Amtech)
- Provide support to colleagues in the installation team
