Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the management of geotechnical construction projects, particularly those involving deep foundations and earth retention systems, from planning through execution.
- Construction Solutions: Support the development and implementation of effective strategies for deep foundation and earth retention projects, emphasizing safety and efficiency.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Support: Work closely with senior project managers and engineers to ensure project deliverables are met, and maintain a culture of safety and excellence in all operations.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to deep foundations and earth retention.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience with a geotechnical construction firm, with exposure to deep foundation systems (such as drilled shafts, micropiles, and driven piles) and earth retention techniques (including sheet piles, soldier piles, and soil nail walls).
- Project Experience: Exposure to managing construction projects is a plus, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with project teams and clients.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and geotechnical construction software is beneficial.
