The main purpose of the role is to design mechanical building services solutions for clients in areas of critical infrastructure, such as financial services, hospitals and data centres.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client to understand their requirements and provide most suitable engineering solutions
- Assess mechanical services in existing buildings and develop suitable strategies, both short and long-term. This may include Energy Performance Analysis and Asset Replacement Reports
- Provide client with engineering recommendations and work phase plans, allowing the building to remain operational whilst works are progressing
- Produce mechanical building services designs, such as HVAC systems, chillers etc using standard industry software (AutoCAD, Hevacomp)
- Provide support to colleagues in the installation team
