Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership of civils projects in the HV sector, in line with the agreed programme
- Create project strategies and plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Ensure appropriate management of project resources
- Make sure tasks and responsibilities are clearly understood by the various teams and individuals
- Provide project progress reports
- Make sure company policies are adhered to at all times
- Show thorough understanding of the commercial aspect of projects, cost implications, sub-contracts etc
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including client, sub-contractors, suppliers and other supply chain partners
Requirements:
- Previous project management experience in the power / HV / T&D or utility / multi-utilities sectors
- Experience managing civil engineering schemes in the above areas, covering ducting, trenching, cables, excavations etc
- Driving licence
- Safe Pass
