Project Manager – Geotechnical Construction

📍 Location: New Orleans, LA (On-Site)
📍 Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (Based on experience)

A global leader in geotechnical construction and deep foundations, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in New Orleans, LA. Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Business Development & Proposals

  • Identify new markets, clients, and opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct risk assessments, and optimize project profitability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and collaborate with the pre-construction team.

🔹 Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee designs, submittals, material ordering, and scheduling.
  • Lead project teams to maximize efficiency, safety, and profitability.
  • Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and within budget.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to maximize profitability.

🔹 Financial & Risk Management

  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage A/R collections and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

🔹 Safety & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and client safety standards.
  • Take corrective action on quality issues and exercise stop-work authority when needed.
  • Partner with HSEQ teams to support a culture of safety and compliance.

Who We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in geotechnical construction or a related field.
Skills:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial oversight and risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
