Our client, a well-respected geotechnical construction company, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Maryland. About the Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ground engineering projects, leading a talented and driven team from project planning to successful completion. Your role will involve not just managing schedules and budgets, but also guiding and mentoring project engineers and field staff to develop their skills and ensure project excellence. Building and maintaining strong client relationships while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment will also be key aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead geotechnical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Mentor and develop project engineers and field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.

  • Cultivate strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable project delivery.

  • Encourage collaboration and problem-solving within the team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and guide decision-making processes to overcome project challenges.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in geotechnical or heavy civil construction.

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing talent.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build cohesive, motivated teams.

  • Solid understanding of ground improvement techniques and construction practices.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
