Position: Project Manager Major Function: As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to safety, top-notch production quality, and client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for harmonizing budgets, labor, and equipment, overseeing the selection and deployment of project personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Evaluate project scope and resource requirements during initial client engagement.
  3. Craft comprehensive project estimates, meticulously considering specifications, drawings, and project intricacies.
  4. Supervise construction endeavors, ensuring seamless alignment with design, budget, and schedule.
  5. Orchestrate on-site functions encompassing scheduling, engineering, material control, and administrative tasks.
  6. Provide adept technical assistance, interpret drawings, propose construction methods, and manage extra work estimating.
  7. Shoulder accountability for contractual performance.
  8. Guide cross-functional teams to project completion, meeting timelines and specifications.
  9. Conduct incisive cost analysis, formulate budgets, and execute risk assessments.
  10. Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  11. Foster robust communication and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  12. Ensure unwavering compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices.
  13. Tackle additional assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
Skills, Qualifications, & Experience:
  • A 4-year engineering degree or equivalent, with eight years of adept construction management experience.
  • Profound understanding of construction, craft agreements, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety.
  • Robust analytical, organizational, and supervisory skills.
  • Familiarity with construction law, particularly in federal, state, and city contexts.
  • Experience with government services, contract administration, and procurement.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong oral and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to exercise independent judgment.
  • Thorough understanding of project or product development.
Physical Demands:
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Regular use of telephone and email for effective correspondence.
  • Extended periods of sitting while maintaining sustained focus and engagement.
  • Normal hearing, vision, and speaking abilities.
  • Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds, with good manual dexterity.
  • Strong reasoning ability.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily outdoors on construction sites.
  • Site visits and field project visits are required.
  • Travel to offices and projects as needed.
  • Job site environment with machinery, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, and fumes.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions and uneven ground.
  • Work schedules may vary, with the potential for extra hours and on-call responsibilities.
