The 19km project connects East and West Toronto, with 25 stations along its length, with 10km of this running underground and improving speeds by up to 60%
This role supports the project’s completion. Joining a team of Signalling professionals, you will provide key project support to reach deliverables and deadlines and ensure the project's delivery.
Reporting to the Signalling & Train Control Senior Project Manager, in this position, you shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Support the continuous development of Systems Integration Management for ongoing projects.
- Maintaining and following up with project delivery issues with all applicable stakeholders.
- Follow company safety, quality, environmental, commercial and project management procedures are followed as relevant to tasks undertaken.
- Support coordination meetings with vendors to progress technical & commercial items
- Oversight of installation scope (drawings/design input from vendor & coordination with installation sub)
- Oversight and management of Systems T&C activities
- Drive technical resolution & execution of the milestones (design workshops, implementation, installation, testing, etc.)
- Support resolution of commercial matters with subcontractors
- Develop reporting measures and metrics to accurately track the status of project milestones
This role is for an initial 4-6 month period and will commence in January.
Deploy is open to Applicants from the UK for this role. However, you must be able to pass a Criminal Record check for Visa purposes.
Due to this being a critical time for the project, any overseas applicants must be aware that this role requires a minimum 3-month initial stint with a 2-week break and then back for the remainder of the contract.
