Technical Sales Engineer – Ground Improvement

Our client is looking to bring on a Technical Sales Engineer with a solid background in geotechnical construction and a knack for developing client relationships. If you're technically minded but commercially sharp, this one’s worth a look.
What You’ll Be Doing

Review and interpret civil, structural, and geotechnical construction documents

Prepare estimates and proposals for ground support solutions

Perform pre-bid geotechnical and structural design calculations using in-house or commercial software

Liaise with clients, engineers, and architects to advance sales opportunities

Negotiate contract terms and close sales where designated as the sales lead

Deliver technical presentations and support client education and training

Collaborate regularly with sales and engineering teams

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events

Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Build and maintain strong client relationships
What You’ll Need

A solid grasp of engineering principles, design tools, and technical drawings

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar

At least 5 years of geotechnical construction experience
– or – -
An equivalent combination of education and experience
