Rapid Response and Safe Delivery Following Landslip
When notified of a landslip by M Group on Saturday afternoon, our teams mobilised immediately to ensure safe access, site stabilisation and continuous monitoring.
By Saturday evening, ES and strapping teams were deployed to take possession and secure the affected area, enabling the site to be made safe without delay. As access requirements evolved, we adapted quickly — turning around multiple possession support teams, allocating additional strapping resources, and implementing 24/7 COSS cover within demanding timeframes.
Our agile response ensured that safety remained the priority while maintaining programme continuity.
Ongoing Support and Extended Possessions
Throughout the week, we have continued supporting the site through extended possessions, enabling planned works to proceed efficiently while maintaining a constant on-site presence.
This approach ensures:
- Safe access under changing ground conditions
- Clear communication across all delivery partners
- Responsive resource allocation
- Full compliance with rail safety and possession protocols
Collaborative Working Under Pressure
This project demonstrates the strength of collaborative working, proactive communication, and a safety-first culture during critical and unplanned events. By working closely with M Group and other stakeholders, we were able to stabilise the situation quickly and provide structured, ongoing support.
Whether responding to emergency call-outs, supporting planned possessions, or delivering complex rail infrastructure works, our focus remains the same:
Plan, Supply and Deliver, Safely.
If you require rapid mobilisation, possession support, COSS cover or strategic delivery partnership for critical rail infrastructure works, contact our team to discuss how we can support your project.
